Our Craft & Chat Group meet on a Tuesday afternoon from 2pm in the Small Hall. Normally the group meets every 2 weeks alternating with the Guild meetings. During the summer months when the Guild does not meet, the Craft & Chat Group meets every week.
We get involved in various projects such as Mary's Meals, knitting hats for sailors and knitting jumpers for Fish & Chips Wrapper Babies in Africa. We also make blankets for the hospitals and care homes, small items of clothes for premature babies and sew banners and lectern falls for the church. In fact we are keen to turn our hand to any good cause especially if it involves knitting needles, a crotchet hook, some wool, a cup of tea and a blether.
If you feel like getting crafty with us or just simply enjoy a nice cup of tea and a good old chinwag, contact Sheila Cameron on 01224 316716 or email sheilamarycameron@gmail.com
